Maricopa County Farm Bureau is seeking applications to fund programs or projects that will teach children and/or our communities about the importance of agriculture providing food and fiber for our Nation.
These grants are an opportunity to Maricopa County schools, non-profit organizations and other agricultural literacy operations to request financial support for a specific program or project.
We are seeking programs or projects that:
· Teach the importance of agriculture as the source of food and fiber
· Utilize science-based, factual materials and/or presentations
· Cover the entire growing/production cycle
· Include emphasis on Maricopa County agriculture
· Reach as many students/community members as possible
The Board of Directors will select projects for funding at their regularly scheduled meeting in May.
To allow adequate time for review of proposals, please submit written proposals by April 30th.
